This project explored my own identity through research into my grandmother’s life by documenting through photographs and text. this exploration led me to photograph the places she lived and worked once she reached the UK as well as including scans of the archive images I discovered whilst exploring her now unoccupied house (138 being the door number).

This project was made into a book and was accompanied by an audio interview between myself and my grandmother talking about her own life and journey.
