PROJECTS
My practice expresses my desire to follow stories, finding narratives rather than directing them. I find stories the things I want to focus on and then follow that path to develop my work and find the narrative of the topic. I easily meet new people and find that people are quickly able to connect with me and
tell me about their lives, simply by being invested in what they want to discuss. This is a good skill to have as a documentary photographer as I’m able to discover stories amongst the mundanity of things. I am honest and open on how I work and approach people which imbues my work with a strong sense of authenticity. I am an empathetic person and not shy of approaching difficult subjects which I handle in a sensitive
way. I am not interested in exposing or exploiting people and their stories and make sure to find a compromise to find a way to work with them in a way that they’re comfortable with. My creativity enables me to show things in a unique and different way and my style and approach is adaptable to the surrounding subject matter.
